The Institute is situated in Porvorim, new capital city of Goa, at Nova Cidade Commercial Complex, S1 Building, Alto-Porvorim, Bardez, Goa - INDIA.
Goa is well known for its rich cultural history & heritage comprising of unique blend of east and west. Located on the west coast of India about 600 kms. south of Mumbai, on the lap of the Arabian Sea, poetically described as the "Pearl of the Orient".
Background
One of the striking features of modern times has been the growth of national and international tourism. The participation of Goa in this development has been unprecedented and the growth in tourist arrivals has by far exceeded that in any other state of India. The hotel industry has contributed much to this success. The tourism has become one of the main pillars of Goa's economy, a real engine for the economic growth of the country, offering employment directly and indirectly to around 25% of the gainful employed population.

The institute looked upon by the hotel industry as a nursery for dedicated, skilled and highly qualified young people who can adapt very quickly to the business environment and eventually assume positions of responsibility.
The ann Institute is committed to the primary mission of meeting the educational and professional needs of its students in the field of Tourism, Transport and Hospitality industries. Further, the institute strives to help students to be ethical, fair in their relation with other people, honest & sincere. Special emphasis is also given to continuing education with a view to upgrading the knowledge and skills.
An additional objective of the institute is to develop in the students a sense of belonging to an educational institute of quality, which is concerned for their welfare and meets their academic, professional, social and other needs.
Courses
Diploma in Hotel Management This entry level program is designed for those looking for a career start in line positions in hospitality and tourism operations. Students learn about food service, production and basic hospitality.
Diploma in International Hospitality Management This program is designed for those looking for a career start in supervisory positions in hospitality and tourism operations. Aimed mainly on advance academic hospitality management subjects at the same time developing their management skills.
PG Diploma in Hotel Management This entry level program is designed for degree holders seeking a career in hospitality industry. Students learn about food service, production and basic hospitality management subjects while developing their management skills.
Facilities
The institute has well equipped classrooms with fully organised departments for practical training in - food production, food and beverage service, housekeeping operations and front office.

Accommodation assistance will be provided in areas close to the institute, details may be obtained from the administration office. Currently, employment rate of ann IHMCT is 100%. Diploma holders are placed as Management Trainees, Receptionist, Restaurant Supervisor, Banquet Supervisor, Night Auditor, Sales Coordinator and Duty Manager.
